Mastering Task Scheduler: Analysis & Troubleshooting Guide for IT Pros!
We analyze the components of Task Scheduler, using process explorer to view the svchost.exe process that runs the Task Scheduler service and the process mmc.exe that runs the console. We will explore the registry and see how tasks are configured in subkeys. We will show how to run utilities using the system account and troubleshooting tips for tasks, scheduler service, and the console. We will analyze the creation of a task and the running of a task in the process monitor. I will debunk some of the myths on the internet on how to solve Task Scheduler services.
