Here's a story about a local photographer who was an Emmy-Nominated reporter for 12 years before pivoting to something more creative in photography.
Naeem Douglas is a staple and a figure in the photography scene in New York. His street portraiture combined with his signature of grouping people together in a lovely manner is what helped him grow connections to the people of NYC. So much so, Naeem created a relationship with the folks over at Souls in Focus, a creative collective aimed at fostering a community for people of color in Brooklyn.
