The Castle Course, Front 9 in +1 over. My favourite golf course in St Andrews!
The Front 9 holes of The Castle Course. This course is incredible, the views are stunning and the golf is challenging if you aren't driving the ball well. Thankfully not much wind on this day, but hitting towards the ocean it's always a good idea to club up for a bit of a breeze coming off the sea. I drove the ball very well, but couldn't capitalise on opportunities due to poor iron shots and pretty lackluster putting. I had a strong mental scorecard apart from when I played through a 4 ball group where I made 2 bogey's in a row, clearly rushing and something to work on.
The Castle Course Front 9 is 3427 yards with a par of 35 on this day due to the Hole 2 change, I shot 36 on this 9, +1 over.
