I was researching on what exactly happened during the "dark days of sumo" and came across the story of Konoshin Suga and Seiichiro Hashimoto - one of the first whistleblowers on "Yaocho" or match-fixing / match rigging in Grand Sumo Wrestling. In this video, we discuss the mysterious circumstances of his death, the coincidence of the death of the co-author of the allegations of corruption in sumo Seiichiro Hashimoto and why corruption in sumo wrestling happens.
