How to turn Captions into Text in Premiere Pro (NO PLUGINS)
To convert captions into text in Premiere Pro, you first need to upgrade your closed caption to a text graphic. This video shows you the process of changing captions into a text graphic in Premiere Pro.
With your captions converted into text, you can then apply affects and animations to your subtitles to make them stand out more in your videos!
PLEASE NOTE:
Once you have changed your captions to a graphic, you cannot revert this change. Best practise is to export your captions as a .srt file before upgrading to a text graphic, so that you have a back-up should anything go wrong.
