3d printer Quality comparison FDM (Prusa i3 mk3) vs SLA (Formlabs Form2)
Difference in print quality is a question I get often so I figured I'd show this while I had a good example in hand.
The FDM print was done on my Prusa i3 mk3 at .1mm layer height
The SLA print was made on my Formlabs Form2 at .05mm layer height
Huge difference in surface quality (and also price)
There are benefits to both types of prints and for the record, I'm FAR more likely to print on the Prusa or any of my other FDM printers before the Form2 unless I ABSOLUTELY need the surface finish that the Form2 provides.
