After along 6 to 12 days after fertilization the embryo gets propelled and pushed towards the uterus and invades or implant to the endometrium that is enormous lining of the uterus, this process is called as implantation.This is sometimes experienced by the women as slight spotting or bleeding associated with pain, this is called implantation bleeding. This is infact an early sign of pregnancy, it is self limiting and does not require any treatment, it usually lasts for not more than 3 to 5 days and it experienced with slight spotting, bleeding associated with some cramping, nausea, breast tenderness and mood swings.
