Painting Winter Fallschirmjaeger - Simple Uniforms, Done Quick [How I Paint Things]
Painting Fallschirmjaeger in their distinctive winter uniforms doesn't have to be a chore. In fact, you can toss that camo paint out the window entirely! Plenty of their uniform featured simple white and grey materials, making them a surprisingly quick, elite army to paint up for your games on the Eastern Front. Though these padded uniforms weren't technically in use during the Battle of the Bulge, the basics of painting them remain the same!

THE BASE: Stirland Mud, tufts (these are Mountain Tufts from Army Painter), generous helping of Valhallan Blizzard. Jab the snow flock with an old brush to shape and fluff it, then paint the base rim in a dark brown of your choice. Done!
