Natural Lighting Tips for YouTube and Videos
Natural lighting can sometimes be the best way to light your videos. In this short video I look at natural lighting and give you some tips on using natural lighting for your YouTube and social media.
There are times of the day to avoid when filming in natural light, those are 12-2pm when the sun is at it's highest. When the sun is at it's highest, it will cast shadow, (called the 12 O'clock shadow) which is not very flattering.
Don't stand with your back to the window as you will look like a silhouette. I demonstrate this at 33 seconds in.
