In this video I show you my process when making beats for "The Producers Corner's" sample challenge using Ableton Live.
I share with you my philosophy on sampling and the 3 steps to sketching out a beat: Chopping samples, adding on drums, and at last making a bass track.

2. Hit the link to the latest playlist and start sampling. You can use your own drums, bass and other sounds.
3. Email the beat as mp3 to djaystress (at) aol.com no later than Saturday 6pm NY time
4. Post link to the beat in the comments on the Facebook thread.
