How to add DARK Theme to your React JS Application | Theme-UI Tutorial
In this video we're going to take a look at the best solution to enabling a light or dark mode toggle in your React JS application. We will discuss topics regarding styling, theming, context, local storage, and a few others! You might be familiar of how to do this with something like styled-components or emotion, but in this video we're going to look at something even simpler: theme-ui! We'll also use a very interesting css strategy utilizing media queries to figure out what the color mode or preference that user has defined in their own OS settings. Finally we'll discuss a simple way to store the user's color preference in localstorage.
