how to change your name on the zoom uh this is what i'm going to show you in this video this video will be divided into a few parts the first part i will show you how you can change it while you are in a meeting and in case you want to change your name before the meeting i will show you the method for that also and there is a method where you can permanently change uh the name uh within the zoom i will show the methods both on the laptop as well as on the mobile the timestamps will be given in the description below for each part so you can jump straight away to the part which you want to see so without any further ado let's get started so first of all how you can change your name while you are within a zoom meeting i'm going to start a test zoom and i will show you that if you are in a meeting how you can change your name during the meeting so now while you are within the meeting you can click on the participants and here you will see your own name within the participants once you will hover that on your own name you will see the option of more click that and from the pop-up menu you will get the option of renaming your or changing your name here you can change the name you will get the option that whether you want this name to be available for this meeting only so you in that case you can just uncheck this which shows that remember by name for future meetings and if you want to change it for all the future meetings you can keep this selection on and click ok so now you can see that your name has been changed while you were in the meeting if you want to change your name before the meeting you can just click the test zoom which i've just shown you and within the test zoom meeting you can change your name following the method which i have just explained with the help of the next option you will be able to change the name before the meeting as well as this is a permanent method of changing the name by clicking on to your account make sure that you are already logged in and from your profile page on the top you will see the uh your name as well as displayed name from towards the right side you there is an option of edit click that and and you can see that this is the displayed name and this is my name so i can change these names to uh any name which i want to permanently keep it for my zoom account and if you want to add the additional dates the options are available here but in this particular case we have just changed our name and click save now your name has been permanently changed now how to do it on the mobile on your mobile phone you will follow the same steps to change your name go to the settings by clicking this bottom right icon then clicking your name and from here clicking the display name and here you can change your name so this is how you can change your name on the zoom app as well as on your website if you want me to make more tutorials on zoom you can ask your questions in the comment section below in any case thank you for watching till the end if you like this video hit the like button share and subscribe
