"The Little Drummer Boy" Likely Story/Stubbs Bros. Band
This song has a special meaning for musicians. Because like all struggling artists, the drummer boy has no gift for the New Born King, except for his song. So, he plays his best for him. I think many can identify with that. This bolero style arrangement is by Rick Stubbs who's playing lead guitar The great Al Waddington plays drums, himself self a bit of a drummer boy. That's Cliff Sanders on bass and Brad Stubbs on 2nd guitar. This is my favorite perfromance of Likely Story/Stubbs Bros. band @ the Sunset Strip club "The Central" (now known as The Viper Room) 12-8-1988
