Just what are the limitations of frames per second with flash photography? I try to answer that in this video using two photography products geared towards speed, the Sony A1 and the Godox P2400. Recently I had a photography session where I intended on using the A1's 30 fps feature to capture as many options as possible of a model being splashed with water. I quickly discovered that 30 fps was far more limited than I thought. Not only was it complex to get 30 frames per second on the camera, new limitations arise when a third party flash system is introduced. In this video I show the limitations, show what you can reliably expect out of the A1 + P2400, and show what you can expect using other Godox lights like the AD200, AD400, and AD600 Pros.
