In this quick tech how-to video, I’m going to show you a quick simple way to change your default web browser from Microsoft Edge to Google Chrome.

To get started, type in the start menu at the bottom, Default Apps, and hit enter when it appears or select it from the matches.

Once in the Default App menu, scroll down until you see Web Browser.

If you haven’t already downloaded and installed Google Chrome, I will link in the description below a video where I walk you through the process.

But if it is already installed, select Web Browser, and from the pop-up menu that appears select Chrome.

Before you make the switch, Windows will ask you to check out the new Microsoft Edge.

Select Switch Anyway, and it will change the default browser app.

And it’s that easy to change your default web browsing app from Microsoft Edge to Google Chrome.
