As promised, our UAD plugin series begins here! Teletronix’s classic LA-2 and LA-2A are considered by many to be indispensable tools for dynamic range wrangling. And as many budding engineers and producers have questions about dynamic range processing, we thought this suite of plugins would be a great start. Take a look and listen with Chris Cline from Civilian Audio as he discusses the differences between the different models and demonstrates using various program material. Please note that individual instrument levels were not adjusted as to keep them relative to the mix session.
