Charlotte with apples is the easiest and most delicious apple pie that literally melts in your mouth, and this pie is cooked very quickly. To make Apple Charlotte Pie:
Form diameter 22 cm
Apples (preferably sour) - 500-600 gr
Sugar - 160 gr
Flour - 160 gr
Eggs - 4 large
Salt - 1 pinch
1. Cut apples into slices or cubes. Apples are better to take sour varieties.
2. Beat eggs with sugar and 1 pinch of salt until light and thick. To make sure that the mass is already well whipped, draw a line with a whisk, if it remains visible for 1-2 seconds, and then spreads, then the eggs with sugar are already well beaten. If the trace from the whisk immediately spreads, then you need to beat more.
3. Sift the flour and gently mix with a spatula from the bottom up. Biscuit dough must be handled carefully to keep it airy.
4. Line the form with parchment or grease with butter, sprinkle with flour. Pour ½ part of the dough, lay out half of the apples cut into slices, pour the dough on top and lay out the remaining apples. If you cut the apples into cubes, then you can add them to the dough, mix gently and then put the whole mass into a baking dish.
5. Bake for 25-40 minutes at 180 degrees. Each oven bakes differently, check doneness with a wooden skewer.
