Do NOT start by promoting ClickBank products on forums.
Why? As a member of those communities, you will be banned from them. That's just how it works. Start with an extra 100 spam for every forum you post in. Is it worth it?
OK, so what to do then? Here is the step-by-step guide:
Locate forums that are in your niche. Find the most active thread (aka with posts). Identify the top posters there by their usernames. Search for them on Twitter, Youtube and Facebook. Start socializing with them and add value to them. Not necessarily about ClickBank products or affiliate marketing directly – just be their friend.
If you are not an expert on "insert relevant topic here," offer to buy them dinner or raise a glass of beer with them online.
Wait till they post something on the forum that you can contribute to. Post a really long and detailed comment with your thoughts about how their idea could be improved or what you would do differently and provide links to resources that support your arguments as well as possible solutions. Be respectful but make sure they take notice of your comment.
This is called "dangling a carrot for the donkey."
Then just wait. Do NOT do anything at all besides waiting and providing more value to them when they need it. DO NOT try to sell your ClickBank products to these people
