Back with another banger. Video quality isn't the best cause my camera broke, so I filmed this on my iPhone. I think Premiere Pro post-production saved it a bit.

So I got a 4th gen Camaro. Naturally, it needed to be louder. Plus, the factory muffler had somehow separated from the exhaust. Don't ask how, I bought it that way. I don't have the money for a full catback yet, so I got some 18" long flexpipe and a band clamp from AutoZone, and with some finagling and redneck ingenuity, I put together a cheap muffler delete that actually exits the bumper (you can see my brilliant engineering in the video under the car). This is by no means the best sounding LS1 (my favorite so far is the Borla ATAK on the C5 Vette), but it definitely can't be beaten as far as bang for buck ($20 and a wrench). It sounds fantastic in the cabin (especially for a muffler delete) with a very full tone, and it won't start to drone until between 2,000-2,800 RPM. I drove it on a 900-mile total round trip and didn't have a problem with it. Very smooth sounding because of that factory Y-pipe, and it'll sometimes give you a nice pop/bang if you tap the throttle after letting off the gas. Not a big fan of the breathy choking-like sound when you let off the throttle in low RPM though.

Ideally I'd like to get a proper system (currently eyeing 1-7/8" LT headers and an SLP + Borla XR-1 catback) but this works for the time being. This setup is for those who can't afford a full catback yet, but want sound. Diameter is 3" for those copying this setup.
