Guardian Tales - All Hero of the Year Award Speeches and Hero Cards
Found this fun mobile game a while back, would have uploaded this video months ago (with fewer hero's that hadn't yet been introduced of course) if not for the hero cards that required levels at the end of the game to be completed. What are they trying to do with this shit? Spoiler alert it? The descriptions aren't even spoiler's really. Well Beth I guess, but you already have her name, is it any less of a spoiler to have the entire character of Future Princess available from the beginning of the game?
I guess my real frustration comes from both requiring the hero, and also to progress that far into the game to get their description which is quite the commitment. World 11 didn't make it easy either even if you did needlessly make three different accounts and play through all of them up to that point while recording all the possible dialogue choices for a series of videos on a game you loved before getting stuck and feeling betrayed...thankfully had a friend able to progress on their account who had Future Knight so I could get the description from there...then on my account I used mileage tickets for Erina...luckily I already had Beth from random summons before I even decided to make this video...phew.
Now about the process of making this video, I have stats here. First of all, I hate (well not anymore since I did this months ago) Lynn. I had to repeat the tutorial and first level 136 times across so many different emails google stopped letting me create any more with the same number and I had to resort to guest accounts reset by deleting and re-installing the game. I used every server and World for the Japan and North America servers of each email, and single facebook account the game refused to unlink with, in order to get footage of every character, and guess who far and away was the most common unique hero? With a total of 13 appearances, nearly twice as many as second place with 7 (Future Princess and Eleanor) was Lynn. Oh and I also hate Arabelle. Not counting hero's after Kanna, who was updated into the game after I had already completed my initial recording of the video, Arabelle was the final hero I got footage of, making me go through several emails just by herself as the final one remaining. So many unique heroes appeared back to back with few repeats in the beginning, which is to be expected of course, but it did not stop going smoothly until the final two, which were Arabelle and Lupina, who I then summoned 4 more times before finally getting Arabelle. Seriously, these last two were probably responsible for 70 of those tutorial runs. Since then I've kept up with the new hero's introduced through their summoning banners when they're released. Haven't had to do the tutorial and first level again since then, luckily, as I've always managed to snag one using one of the several accounts I created and stocked up with blue gems on while journeying to get stuck on world 11, but that's a story for another video.
