NOTE: the EKWB EK-QUANTUM MOMENTUM² MONOBLOCK was originally designed for the ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO. After testing it I found that it gave similar thermal results on its DARK HERO variants. Nevertheless, the RGB OLED screen found on the DARK HERO is NOT compatible with the MOMENTUM² MONOBLOCK IO roof.
These are my findings and apply to my build only. Please confirm my findings with the EKWB support team before coupling the ROG MAXIMUS Z790 DARK HERO and the EK-Quantum Momentum² ROG Maximus Z790 Hero D-RGB – Plexi.
