hi guys~
as i talked about in the video, this type of video isn't really the type i upload. but, i've a lot thought about making a series—or at least trying it out at least once—many many times. this video is heavily inspired by both the events in my life and via li's journal entry series. after watching her series, i really admired and appreciated the way she conveyed her thoughts about a topic that we all have to go through or experience. there's something about that style of filmography and making videos that i've never had the chance to explore and really wanted to pursue once. and, i've also been wanting to make more sit-down videos where i get to talk to you guys more. in my regular vlogs, i feel as if there is only a certain extent wherein i get to REALLY communicate my thoughts and express myself. so, that's how a video like this came into fruition
now, with this topic itself, i find that it's something that has is constantly coming into and out of my mind. being so embedded in academia and this "grind mindset", it's very easy to get lost in where your time is going. and also being an introvert, when it comes to people, my time is very limited. now, every person in my life is someone i truly hold dear and love. we all support each other so much and have our own aspirations of our own that we are constantly working towards. i'm so grateful to have them in my life and especially knowing that when i am prioritizing myself, they're also doing the same.
