it seems that for some people, the renaming of ModernWarfare.exe file name while in game works. Thanks to user Daddledore from Reddit, here is a batch file that does this automatically.
Get to PasteBin (https://pastebin.com/tVirPcTN) hit the download button on top right side and save the script on your computer. Once saved, right click on it, then Edit, and change the line
set place=F:\Games\Call of Duty Modern Warfare
with the installation path you have. In my case it would be
set place=C:\Program Files (x86)\Call of Duty Modern Warfare
Just save the file, right click on it and select Run as administrator
PS: the script simply renames the ModernWarfare.exe filename and sets process priority. It should not impact anything else.
