Google's mobile division just has to be probably the weirdest company out there. it's four months till the launch of the Pixel 8 and 8 pro and we do have a ton of info including the display size, the cameras, and a new temperature sensor, and this really even isn't shocking news to anyone because that's exactly how it happens every single time Google has to release a Google Pixel device. Let's get straight into it as we do have loads of leaks and rumours to unpack
Let's talk cameras, the main camera is going to be a 50mp iso cell gn 2 sensor from Samsung coming with staggered HDR and 8k capabilities, definitely an ultra-wide in the form of a 64mp Sony imx 767 and a 5x telephoto and selfie camera that will remain unchanged from the previous device. Now whiles we are at the back of the device keys talk about Google's newest addition. A temperature sensor that's going to be used in measuring temperature accurately as shown in this demo video from Google
Tensor G3 is going to see a huge boost in CPU performance. Google Tensor chipsets haven't been the best out there not even close ever since its release we've seen it go up against some of the best out there and honestly sometimes it feels like it's three generations behind the flagship snapdragon chipsets but this is about to change with the upcoming tensor g3.
Google is going to finally use a better core configuration and use all the latest cores in the tensor g3. It's looking great in the GPU department in the form of the Mali G715 immortalise supporting flagship features like ray tracing. There's also going to be an improved TPU to bump up the already great A.I performance as the pixel 8 is said to have a new video unblur feature, similar to the photo unblur but with videos. The tensor g3 is said to come with a faster memory finally bringing Ufs 4.0 to the pixel. All in all the tensor g3 might finally have a fighting chance against these other flagship chipsets, promising faster storage processing and efficiency
