In this new quick video, I'll show you 2 easy ways to restart Windows Explorer.

METHOD 1 - Restarting Windows Explorer from the Task Manager
1. Right-click on the Windows taskbar to open the Task Manager.
2. In the Task Manager, scroll down until you find the Windows Explorer.
3. Right-click on it and select 'Restart'.
4. Now your desktop will turn black for a second but don't worry - it won't last forever!

METHOD 2 - Restarting Windows Explorer from the Windows taskbar.
1. Press the CTRL+ SHIFT keys (simultaneously) and right-click on your taskbar.
2. Now you'll see the 'Exit Explorer' option. Click on it.
3. The screen will become black. To make the Windows Explorer run again, press the CTRL + SHIFT + ESCAPE buttons to open the Task Manager.
4. Now, click on File → Run new task. Type the 'explorer.exe' command in a window and check the 'Create this task with administrative privileges' option.
5. Click OK and now you should see your desktop again.
