Feather Edges: GIMP
When you remove parts of an image in GIMP you may notice that the outline of the subject that's left may now look / appear rough looking with jagged edges.
This video shows you how the Feather Edges option can help you smooth the sides / edges of your photographs, so they look more natural looking and not as harsh looking with the a jagged edge.
