I made a Unity planet script for Earth. The script contains a sphere and icosphere generator. Textures are 4096x4096. Shader includes atmosphere and night lights, optional detail layer and normal map. Contains a separate cloud layer and optional halo / glow effect. Making new planets is simply a matter of swapping in new textures.
