So after the delivery the uterus starts shrinking down, so that can cause after pains. After the delivery when the baby comes out the uterus is almost of 5th month size, so with in 3 weeks it will go back its normal size, so at the time of shrinkage of the uterus their can be the stomach pain and generally we see this kind severe stomach pain, specially when they feed the baby they will have more harmones which are released and that causes shrinkage of the uterus.
