A really good World War 2 game that died very quickly :(
Day of Defeat was a Half-Life mod that evolved into its own game, and with a source sequel. It was quite the success back in 2003, but was criticized for copying battlefield since it came a few months after. Despite that, loads of people played it and liked it. However, it was short lived, and quickly died, almost being forgotten by everyone. Of course, there are a few people playing it, but nowhere near the number back in 2003. Shame.
