Bisphenol-A in food: How great is the danger? | The guide
Bisphenol A, or BPA for short, is classified as "critical to health" and is contained in many everyday products such as cans or plastic bottles. Stiftung Warentest has examined cans and warns: BPA was discovered in almost all of the cans tested. In France, the inner coatings of canned goods have had to be free of bisphenol A since 2015. There is currently no such ban in Germany. Why?
