Creating Art with AI - Ep. 2.3 - CFG Scale
The CFG Scale is generally documented as controlling how much influence your text prompt has over the image generation. That may be true, but don’t expect too much from it!
In practice, I think it’s most useful as another way to create different variations of a seed that you like.
“CFG” stands for “Classifier-Free Guidance”. That name really only has significance to researchers in this field (and even in that context I’m not sure it’s a great choice!). When you see this term, it’s probably best just to mentally translate it to something like “Prompt Strength”.
