This is the 9th part of unity 4 legged character controller tutorial series. Today also I am going to continue with the generic IK solver for this 4 legged deer character I am working on. I am going to focus on how to enable and disable the IK changes on the skeleton as the character move and become stationary. Because If I leave the IK foot placement enabled always, character will drag feet on the ground without ever lifting it, which would make the walking look odd. SO, as the character start to move, IK settings which helps to place the foot properly on the ground will be disabled to have a smooth walking animation.
