How many kg/m3 in lb/ft3? Ans. is 16, thus 1 lb/ft3 = 16 kg/m3.
To calculate weight of rebar per cubic foot divide 7850 kg/m3 by 16, such as 7850 ÷16 = 490 lb/ft3
Thus weight of rebar per cubic foot is equal to 490 pounds which is approximately equal as 0.245 US tons.
