Computer Network is a collection of various computers, it is a combinations of hardware and software.
Computers connected in network can share data or files with each other and can communicate with each other.
Internet is a collection of various networks. Internet is a short form of Inter Network.
Network Edge is devices located at network boundary as an end systems, There is no more network expansion after the edge of network. It may be desktop computers, laptops, smartphones, tablets etc.
Network Core is components located in central part of network. It may be routers, switches, bridges, connectors and cables etc.
Protocol is a set of rules that governs data communication in network.
Key elements of protocols are syntax, semantics and timing.
