How to make a Mini Tree for school projects, dioramas and miniature models
Hello, dear friends! This tutorial shows an easy way to make a Mini Tree from crepe paper, without using glue.

YOU WILL NEED:
Green crepe paper
Dry sticks / small branches
- Craft or copper wire
Scissors
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Start by cutting a small branch, about 10-15 cm tall.
2. To make a small bunch of leaves: Cut a strip of green crepe paper about 5 x 10 cm.
3. Fold the paper in accordion folds. Then cut the 2 ends in a leaf shape as shown.
4. Wrap craft wire tightly in the middle.
5. Spread out the leaves, and pull them up one by one, to make a bunch of leaves.
6. To make a larger bunch of leaves:
Cut 2 big strips of crepe paper, about 8 x 10 cm. Layer 2 strips together, then fold like an accordion.
7. Cut the edges in a leaf shape, as shown. Wrap craft wire tightly around the middle.
8. Spread out the leaves and pull them up one by one, to make a bunch of leaves.
9. Make 12-15 such bunches of leaves. You can make more, if you want a tree with thicker foliage.
10. Gather a few bunches and wrap their wires together. Then wrap the wires around the little branch.
11. Continue adding bunches of leaves to your wooden branch, in the same way, till your mini tree looks full.
12. Your mini tree is ready! You can attach it to a model or school project using hot glue or clay at the base.
