During this time, they had to come up with a design that maintained the authenticity of the comic book costume. They then selected the material, sculpted it from clay, created a computer model, and finally sewed it. Choosing the right shade was challenging because fabric can look great in person but different on screen. Also, if it was too dull, it would be harder to brighten it in post-production. There was another reason they put so much effort into it. If someone took a photo of the actor in the costume on set and posted it on social media, the costume needed to look cool in that photo.
