Combine Curves. Merge curves into one curve and create stylized character controller in Maya 2020
In this tutorial, I will show you how to combine multiple curves into one curve by grouping curve shapes. Then, I'll show you using Type tool to create stylized curve shape for character control.
Notes:
parent -r (-relative) flag is relative positioning. “parent -r” will change the object’s parent while leaving the object’s local transform unchanged. If you open the Edit - Parent options box, it's the same as the "Preserve position" checkbox.
parent -s (-shape) is a flag used to change the parent transform of a shape.
