Dopo la lore dell'ambientazione, continuiamo con il racconto di tutta la trama principale della storia completa di Genshin Impact salpando finalmente per l'arcipelago di Inazuma dove avremo a che fare con gli esponenti delle tre Commission - Kanjou, Yashiro e Tenryou - che governano le isole sotto gli ordini della Shogun Immortale Raiden, la stessa Archon di Electro Baal che ha voluto la Caccia alle Vision e la chiusura dei confini del suo regno. Il suo giogo crea però terreno per alleati su ogni fronte: da Thoma, Kamisato Ayaka e Naganohara Yoimiya direttamente sotto le bandiere della capitale, pur mescolate a figure più enigmatiche come la lealista Kojou Sara e la misteriosa Lady Yae, al Generale Gorou della Resistenza sotto la guida della temibile Sangonomiya Kokomi.
