Conjugation of German verbs in the Present tense. PART 1. Level A1 A2 B1. German Grammar.
In this video You will be able to understand how to conjugate the German verbs in the Present tense. The present tense is formed with the endings: -e, -st, -t, -en, -t, -en.
Example:
kriegen- to get sth
ich kriege
du kriegst
er sie es kriegt
wir kriegen
ihr kriegt
Sie sie kriegen
Next I will explain to you the verbs stem endings: -t, -m, -n, -d (-ten, -men, -nen, -den) and if we will have here the 'e' extension betwenn the stem and the ending. For example: 'anketten' as trennbares Verb (separable prefix verb) the prefix an goes at the end while conjugationg it and then in the second and third person singular and in the second person plural you will have an extra e, so called e extansion, e.g. du kettest an, er sie es kettet an, ihr kettet an.
You will get fours versb that I am conjugation for You so you can repeat after me.
