World Environment Day
Today we celebrate World Environment Day! While you enjoy the sounds of the cicadas from our managed forest, we join the world to raise awareness on land restoration, desertification, and drought resilience. These are important topics for us as we manage forests in southeastern Brazil - an area with dry seasons. Because change needs creativity, we at Faber-Castell established an initiative aimed at counteracting soil erosion, including regular analysis and mapping of the forests soil for monitoring and to put in place countermeasures.
