To install Ubuntu on VirtualBox, you can follow these steps:
Download and install VirtualBox on your computer from the official website: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downl...
Download the Ubuntu ISO file from the official website: https://ubuntu.com/download
Open VirtualBox and click on the "New" button to create a new virtual machine.
Give your virtual machine a name and choose "Linux" as the type and "Ubuntu (64-bit)" as the version.
Allocate enough memory (RAM) to the virtual machine. A minimum of 2GB is recommended.
Choose "Create a virtual hard disk now" and click "Create."
Choose "VDI" as the hard disk file type and click "Next."
Choose "Dynamically allocated" as the storage type and click "Next."
Allocate enough storage space for the virtual machine. A minimum of 20GB is recommended.
Click "Create" to finish creating the virtual machine.
Select the newly created virtual machine in VirtualBox and click on the "Settings" button.
Under the "Storage" tab, click on the empty CD/DVD icon and select "Choose Virtual Optical Disk File."
Browse to the Ubuntu ISO file that you downloaded and select it.
Under the "System" tab, make sure the "Enable EFI" option is unchecked.
Click "OK" to save the changes.
Start the virtual machine by clicking on the "Start" button.
Ubuntu should now start from the ISO file. Follow the on-screen instructions to install Ubuntu on the virtual hard disk.
Once the installation is complete, restart the virtual machine and remove the Ubuntu ISO file from the virtual CD/DVD drive.
Ubuntu should now start from the virtual hard disk. You can now use Ubuntu on VirtualBox.
