How to Replace the Intake Air Filter and Cabin Air Filter on a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder LE. This same process applies to all 2000 2001 2003 2004 models as well. DIY installation of a new intake filter and changing out the very dirty cabin air filters. IMO, the intake filter should be replaced every 30K miles and the cabin filter should be changed every year.
