Reliving The War takes an in-depth look at the Monday Night War, both WCW Nitro and WWF Raw is War gets compared (weekly) to find out which show was the really the best. The is the first Reliving The War episode of 1998.
On WCW Nitro the problems regarding Sting, Hollywood Hogan and the World Heavyweight Title continue. JJ Dillon says the end of last week's nitro was taped and the tape will get played on the debut episode of WCW Thunder; after the public sees what happened at the end of Sting vs Hogan on Nitro a decision will be made regarding exactly who the World Champion really is. Bret Hart and Ric Flair also have an in-ring confrontation this week on Nitro.
On the WWF channel Paul Bearer is absolutely distraught over Kane leaving him. It looks like The Undertaker and Kane have joined forces, and Paul begs Kane to please come home. Jim Cornette brings the NWA to Raw this week, and Shawn Michaels gets a surprise at the end of this week's show.
