➡️ Today we are gonna see how to create reusable activities using 𝐔𝐢𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 in order to minimize the workflows, activities in your project and also use the best coding standards across multiple teams in your organization.
➣ 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐮𝐬𝐞 R𝐞𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 A𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 -- These are some of the examples and we can use it for lot more depends on the use case, Login into any specific application, Read a data from the excel file, get input from a user in attended automation and all these by including the retry mechanism and logging, and best practice defined by your organization etc..
➣ In Latest version of 𝐔𝐢𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐬, 𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬-𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 we can do a lot more to the activities customization and properties (we can now create different input types (like dropdown, checkbox, radio button etc.) for the property, previous in windows legacy we cannot do that and we have to create a custom activity for this..
➣ UiPath Library is available for many years now and its a simple yet powerful project type which we can use to reduce the time in developing the bots as we can reuse the logics wherever possible.
➣ It will create a NuGet Package(.nupkg) which we can share it by publishing locally or share it into a orchestrator.
➣ But there are some limitations when creating UiPath library so make sure to read the official documentation below link to avoid any errors while creating.
