Overview: Turner (Halle Berry) is a 911 operator, one day she received a call from a young girl, claiming that a stranger had broken into her home, Turner then told her to hide, but then the call was suddenly disconnected, Turner anxiously called back, but unexpectedly exposed the girl's hiding place, so she was unfortunately killed by the intruder. From then on, Turner fell into the abyss of guilt and could no longer work as an operator. Six months later, Turner became an operator mentor. On this day, a novice receives a call reporting a girl on the other end, Kathy (Abigail Breslin), who is trapped in the trunk of a car by kidnappers and is in a critical condition.
