Don't Be Scared To Ask For Help
Hear from former marketing and communication intern, Nate Hoffman, about not being scared to ask for help and learning from your mistakes while participating in the minority student internship program through the Tech With Heart Foundation:
"Think one of the biggest things that I've learned is don't be scared to ask for help, and there's no such thing as asking for help too much, and from whatever mistakes that you do make, you just have to remember what is told and then improve on it again. Another big thing that the Tech With Heart Foundation has shown me is patience, because with a lot of the tasks too, sometimes you're thinking, okay, you could run this through really quickly. But it's very detail oriented and you got to follow the system step by step and when you do your successful, but if you go too fast, then it's kind of like, Oh no and I think patients could go a long way. Balance is also another good thing that the Tech With Heart Foundation has taught me and that's applicable in like your school with sports, with your social life. I would recommend my position to marketing or any communications interns for the Tech With Heart Foundation."
