To adjust the light brightness with a hand swipe:
Press and hold the on/off button for about 5 seconds. Don't push other buttons. The light slowly blinks once. Now you can swipe your hand past the lamp to turn it on/off, and holding your hand near the sensor will adjust the brightness. To turn the hand swipe feature OFF, just do the same long press on the on/off button. This time, the light will slowly blink TWICE.
