Almost every app needs auth, and the way Supabase has been generating hype, it’s sensible to investigate its way of handling auth as a legit solution you can take to production! Let’s see if we can figure out how to do it with SvelteKit SSR!

... and definitely the one I’ve spent THE most time making. I did research Supabase as an option back then, but they’ve added a couple things since… I ran a poll on what to livestream, and giving it another go now won, so we're going for it! This is gonna be a long stream... 😄
Likely agenda:
✅ Client-side vs. Server-side auth?
✅ Supabase vs. other solutions?
✅ Creating a sign-up / sign-in form
✅ Making it work client-side
🤷 Make it work server-side (see below:)
✅ Cookie-based auth
✅ SSR querying our DB with credentials

I'd say we got "half checkmarks" on most of these, as the functionality is there, but not the UX I'd want from a production up! I don't think there's a lot of cleaning-up left tho! Will commit and deploy the results from our work within the week 😄
