I loved working my "Electro-Metro" electric car conversion. That was 10 years ago now that I built it. Battery technology and motor availability has changed quickly since then, but I hope you enjoy learning how I built my own electric car WITHOUT being a mechanic or an electrical engineer.

Although the Geo Metro electric conversion was based on lead-acid batteries and a DC motor, I think there's still all sorts of good ideas that can be learned from the project.
I hope this educates and inspires you for whatever project you have in mind, whether it's a go-kart, motorcycle, boat, or something completely different!
There are still a few copies of the original DVD for sale. Besides the video, the set also has a DVD-ROM with photos, web clips, and documents from the project.
