TIK TOK PAINTING ON GLASS | JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Painting
In this video I try the tik tok trend of painting on glass. I use acrylics paints to paint on glass and paint Jotaro Kujo and Kakyoin Noriaki from JoJo's Bizzare Adventure.
I start my glass painting by drawing out the characters using a sharpie pen, this step is super easy, as you can place a reference image underneath your glass and trace over the image.
Once the drawing is complete, you can start the tik tok glass painting. I use acrylic paintins, as they create a good opacity on top of the glass. Start with the highlights and any small details that you can see, that sit on the very top of the refence image. Once we reveal the reverse painting, the first layer of paint that I put down will be very evident. I paint Jotaro Kujo in his greys and hat, mixing cool and warm tone greys to show some definition in the character. For the Kakyoin Noriaki painting, I use a mixure of greens and reds.
I found it useful to add a second layer of acrylic paint, matching my original colours, to ensure there was a good coverage of paint over the glass. Once there is plenty of paint on the glass, you can seal everything in with a PVA glue, so that that paint doesn't chip off.
